chung-dung learning lab

About the Learning Lab

What does a person actually need to learn — and how — in order to live a life that's self-directed, meaningful, and able to contribute?

Learning Lab is a chung-dung project built around a 5-layer philosophy of holistic human development.

The 5-layer philosophy of development:

01

Survival

Can I take care of myself?

Nutrition, cooking, first aid, personal finance, digital safety, self-defence, emergency response, basic repairs, health & outdoor living.

02

Self-management

Can I master myself?

Awareness and regulation of attention, emotions, habits, time, energy, sleep, and motivation; building inner strength.

03

Connection

Can I live alongside others and understand the world?

Communication, compassion, negotiation, conflict resolution, family, friendship, love, teamwork, leadership; understanding society, science, economics, politics.

04

Meaning

Who do I want to become, and what do I want to live for?

Happiness, beauty, ethics, life, death, identity, the values one pursues, and the person one wants to become.

05

Creation & contribution

What can I create for the world?

Art, literature, research, technology, entrepreneurship, agriculture, mentoring, community initiatives, giving back what one has created.
